CHICAGO SHORELINE MARATHON - AUGUST 10TH - 11THLeone Beach
That's right... the Windy City Waterman-sponsored race gets all caps (blogger's prerogative). This is THE event of the summer, kids. My friends at Windward Boardshop and I have teamed up with the Chicago Shoreline Marathon, one of the most prestigious surfski and OC- events in the world. We're bringing racers from all walks of the paddle-world together to battle it out on the open water of Lake Michigan. But don't worry... if you're not ready for the grueling 8-mile, 2-beach race, there will be a fun recreational race, demos on the beach, great food and lots of fun activities for all. I hope to see you there!
