the sandy sessions

     Grab some popcorn and a frosty beverage... it's movie night.  Here are a few videos from the recent action on Lake Michigan.  Thanks to Sandy we had sustained north winds in the 40-50 knot range for two days which moved a lot of water down here to the south end.  As always with big systems like this a lot of it was a sloppy mess, but as the winds died down on Wednesday it cleaned up and we had some really pretty surf.  Check it out.

     Next we go to Holland, Michigan.

     And finally, Chicago... 57th Street Beach if I'm not mistaken.
